Parking
The Proposed Plan Addresses Downtown’s Future Parking Needs
The plan adds parking and upgrades existing parking to serve the new civic buildings as well as future retail and office space. For example, the city hall parking lot can be used by shoppers, diners, and other visitors to downtown during evenings and weekends.
Much of the Additional Parking Will Be in the Same Footprint as Existing Parking
A clear goal of the plan is to upgrade existing parking so that the extent of paved surface expands as little as possible.
The Real Numbers
The proposed plan increases the parking by 130 spaces.
