Bike Biloxi!
Client : Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Biloxi, Gulf Coast Heritage Trails Partnership, Gulf Coast Bicycle Club
Bike Biloxi is a collaborative effort to make Biloxi, MS, a more bike-friendly city. With an initial bike route around East Biloxi and several more in the works, Bike Biloxi is beginning to take shape while designating space for visiting and local bike riders. This initiative has the potential to make city streets safer for cyclists of all ages and to encourage bike transit. The GCCDS helped developed the initial bike route, as well as several themed alternate routes, and produced the Bike Biloxi logo, maps, brochure, and t-shirts. The City of Biloxi produced signs marking the East Biloxi bike route, and monthly bike rides are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month.
